Job Opportunity - Vertiv is on the lookout for a skilled professional to take on the role of Manager of Market Operations for the Northern Area.

The Manager of Market Operations plays a crucial role in the senior management team for the Northern Area, responsible for overseeing sales performance, revenue tracking, material procurement, inventory oversight, sales forecasting, and ensuring operational compliance. This position collaborates closely with Vertiv's EMEA senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of sales revenue targets for the Northern Area, including reporting to facilitate informed decision-making, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Managing procurement operations within the Northern Area to enhance cost efficiency, supplier relations, and compliance with delivery service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Supervising order management processes to guarantee accurate processing, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, and timely distribution to relevant teams.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the sales backlog for the Northern Area and actively managing it to meet monthly revenue objectives.
  • Collaborating with EMEA management on inventory and material planning for the Northern Area, which includes reporting, inventory adjustments, and replenishment strategies.
  • Implementing the established material planning strategy for the Northern Area, conducting regular evaluations to align inventory with sales forecasts and operational requirements.
  • Coordinating with procurement teams to manage Northern Area suppliers, securing optimal value through negotiation and rebate agreements.
  • Overseeing both internal and external product warehouse operations in the Northern Area to meet stock management and delivery KPIs.
  • Regularly assessing warehouse locations to ensure stock quality and usability, striving to enhance inventory turnover and outcomes.
  • Directing operational activities in the Northern Area while maintaining oversight of SOX compliance and audit activities within the operational framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in personnel management within an operational context.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Project Management or Operations Management roles.
  • In-depth understanding of component parts and their associated costs.
  • Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, process, and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively engage with various departments and personnel at different levels, even in high-pressure situations.
