Area Operations Manager - Flexible Location

Position: Area Operations Manager
Location: Flexible, with travel required to various sites across the UK
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with Company Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance

Position Overview: As the Area Operations Manager, you will be tasked with supervising the operational activities across multiple senior living facilities within your designated area. Your responsibilities will include managing client partnerships, ensuring top-tier standards of food quality and service, and fostering continuous enhancements to surpass client and customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Direct daily operational activities across various locations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food and outstanding service.
  • Client Relations: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, comprehending their requirements and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead on-site operational teams, promoting a positive and efficient work atmosphere. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure staff are skilled and motivated.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee budgets, manage expenses, and optimize resources to meet financial objectives. Evaluate financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Menu Innovation: Collaborate with culinary teams to create and implement innovative and appealing menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our clients.
  • Customer Experience: Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly. Initiate programs to enhance customer satisfaction and dining experiences.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a senior operational management role, preferably within the private and senior living sector.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and personnel management skills with the capability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Excellent client relationship management skills with a focus on understanding and fulfilling client needs.
  • Financial Insight: Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
  • Quality Commitment: Dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
