Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at PDA Search and Selection Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day cleaning operations of our client accounts, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the cleaning and covering of sites as required, ensuring that all cleaning schedules are met and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
- Holiday Planning and Cover: Hold area holiday planners and ensure that cover is in place for all planned absences, ensuring that the smooth operation of the cleaning service is maintained at all times.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits on sites to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and company policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Additional Works: Plan and complete all additional works requested by sites within agreed timescales and to budget, ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard and that clients are satisfied with the service provided.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to check on service performance, support staff needs, and client liaison on all sites, ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied with the service provided.
- Business Support: Provide support for business needs and adjoining accounts as directed by the Operations Manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that clients are satisfied with the service provided.
- Training and Development: Ensure that all colleague training is up to date, including inductions, refresher training, machinery, and toolbox talks, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide a high-quality service.
- Risk Management: Ensure that all site compliance documents are up to date and completed, where appropriate, and that all risks, hazards, and incidents are reported, investigated, and any remedial actions completed.
Requirements:
- Multi-Site Cleaning Management Experience: Ideally, experience with mobile cleaning and retail environment.
- Flexibility: A strong degree of flexibility with regards to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license.
- Commercial Focus: Highly operational with a commercial focus, able to manage direct reports and ensure cleaning standards are met.
