Position: Benefits Analyst

Role Overview:

  • Benefits Administration: Assist in managing various employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, wellness initiatives, workers' compensation, and leave of absence (LOA).
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and evaluate reports from vendors regarding global benefits usage.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain regular reports on benefits participation, costs, and trends to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Employee Assistance: Act as a primary contact for employees regarding global benefits inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Enrollment Support: Aid in the enrollment process for new hires and during annual open enrollment, including data entry, eligibility checks, and record management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of local regulations across various jurisdictions related to benefits programs, including COBRA.
  • Wellness Programs: Assist in the execution and promotion of wellness initiatives aimed at enhancing employee health and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Foster a strong partnership with the Payroll and HR Core team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in benefits administration or HR within a larger organization, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Workday is essential.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, with experience engaging with employees from diverse backgrounds and levels.
  • Basic understanding of varying legal and regulatory frameworks across different countries, particularly concerning employee benefits, healthcare, and retirement plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP systems.
  • Familiarity with global benefits programs across all regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC).

The minimum base salary for this role is $60,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. Additionally, this role may offer benefits such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, along with 401(k) contributions. Compensation and benefits for successful candidates will be determined based on various factors.
