Compensation and Benefits Analyst

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: London / On-site (5 days a week)

Salary: £60,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Network HR is seeking to appoint a Compensation and Benefits Analyst for a prominent, city-based Fintech organization with over three decades of industry-leading experience. The payroll function is essential to the HR department and necessitates a skilled expert to guarantee the efficient operation and ongoing improvement of this domain through automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

As part of a compact team, the Compensation and Benefits Analyst will report directly to the Head of Payroll and will be expected to contribute positively to the collaborative and welcoming culture of the department. In addition to routine payroll tasks, you will also assist with ongoing payroll projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for the UK and EMEA regions, addressing complexities related to EMEA.
  • Assist with tax-related matters, including P11D checks and reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of payroll reconciliation spreadsheets.
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of country-specific payrolls, pension, and income tax data.
  • Update and maintain payroll and benefits systems as necessary.
  • Calculate deductions for benefits, holiday pay, terminations, and any relevant leaves of absence.
  • Support the establishment of payroll, employee tax, and benefits.
  • Ensure timely payment of all PAYE and Social Security obligations.
  • Collaborate with other departments on post-payroll activities.
  • Process company benefits efficiently.
  • Provide reports and data to the Finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing Payroll and Benefits across the UK and European regions.
  • Experience with ADP is highly desirable, along with proficiency in systems and management information.
  • Ability to adopt a strategic perspective on payroll and benefits to enhance employee experience.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • A professional and approachable demeanor that complements the existing team dynamic.
