POSITION OVERVIEW

Ten Toes is on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to enhance our clients' connections with their audiences and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will join a team of social media professionals dedicated to collaborating with sports entities, brands, and talents, delivering top-notch support through the planning, creation, analysis, and execution of exceptional digital content.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

We seek an individual who can effectively manage our partnerships with sports organizations, brands, and talents, providing a variety of services ranging from strategic consultancy to the daily oversight of their social media platforms.

The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of the evolving social media landscape, along with hands-on experience in crafting, ideating, publishing, and analyzing content across various platforms. Experience working with brands or organizations in the sports sector is highly desirable.

The individual must demonstrate a strong ability and enthusiasm for planning, creating, and disseminating content, collaborating closely with our team of social media managers.

It is essential that the successful candidate is passionate, committed, and personable. Excellent communication skills are crucial in this dynamic role.

In particular, the role holder should be adept at evaluating the effectiveness of social media content and possess a keen eye for identifying social trends, coupled with the creativity and confidence to illustrate how our clients can leverage these trends on their channels.

Senior Social Media Manager

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The individual in this role will provide operational support to Ten Toes' social media management team, reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, to assist one or more of Ten Toes' clients in fostering stronger connections with their audiences and stakeholders through three primary services:

  • Consultation (strategy)
  • Channel oversight
  • Content development

The role holder will collaborate with our broader internal team in planning, ideation, reporting, and executing initiatives with sports organizations, brands, and talents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting senior social media managers with content strategies for client channels
  • Preparing and distributing social media copy for client postings
  • Coordinating with account leads to ensure content and copy receive internal and client approval prior to posting
  • Supporting the creation of multimedia assets alongside senior social media managers
  • Identifying social media trends and best practices, suggesting opportunities for client channels
  • Assisting with analytics, reporting, and tagging of client content
  • Contributing to the production and distribution of content across Ten Toes' social channels
  • Supporting the internal team in developing strategic and reporting presentations for clients
  • Identifying community management opportunities across client channels
  • Researching and organizing relevant information for content creation across client channels
  • Assisting the internal team with graphic and video brief development for client channels

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Essential: Proven experience in creating and publishing content across digital platforms
  • Essential: In-depth knowledge of the contemporary digital landscape
  • Essential: Experience in producing a variety of social-first multimedia content
  • Essential: Background in the sports industry
  • Desirable: Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Desirable: Familiarity with analytics tools and software for assessing content and channel performance
  • Desirable: Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
