The Role

We are on the lookout for a Regional Social Media Strategist to take charge of our social media initiatives across the APAC region. In this position, you will be responsible for creating engaging content and innovative campaigns that leverage trending topics to enhance brand visibility throughout the area. As the social media authority for our culinary brand, you will manage projects related to food and cooking, nurture client partnerships, mentor team members, and guide our social media vision. We seek a perfect mix of creativity and strategic insight.

Your Contributions
  • Regional Social Media Expertise: Design and execute impactful social media strategies for our food brands in APAC, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and search trends. Lead the social media team, keeping abreast of industry developments and incorporating new methodologies for improved brand presence.
  • Trend Engagement: Utilize social media trends to produce compelling content that ignites discussions and enhances engagement.
  • Client Relationship Builder: Establish strong client connections, comprehend their requirements, and surpass expectations by delivering outstanding social media solutions.
  • Team Leader: Inspire and guide a high-performing team, encouraging creativity and providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
  • Content Specialist: Ensure high-quality social media content that resonates with current trends, adheres to brand guidelines, and fulfills client goals.
  • Innovative Thinker: Lead creative social media initiatives, explore new tools, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data to inform strategies and prepare reports that highlight achievements.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators to showcase the impact of social media efforts.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in directing social media campaigns within the APAC food sector.
  • A comprehensive understanding of diverse social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • A passion for food and an eye for trends, complemented by exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in content creation and a talent for storytelling.
  • Ability to cultivate strong client relationships and utilize data for strategic planning.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Filipino, Indonesian, and Malay considered an asset.
