We have introduced a pioneering Trainee Nursing Assistant position, the first of its kind, featuring an innovative development program designed to equip Senior Care Assistants with the necessary skills and responsibilities to transition into Nursing Assistants.
This role will involve assisting with tasks such as medication administration, wound care, catheter management, and other direct clinical responsibilities under the supervision of qualified nursing staff.
Additionally, you will receive a salary increment upon successful completion of the training program.
Qualifications for the Development Program:
- Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care (or in progress)
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Health & Social Care, particularly in a Senior Carer role or a similar position with leadership duties, especially concerning medication administration and shift management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of person-centered care planning and relevant legislative and regulatory standards.
Safeguarding is a collective responsibility, and it is essential to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and understand the appropriate actions to take in such situations. All staff members are required to participate in safeguarding training relevant to their roles and to pursue additional training in related areas. You will also have the capability to seek guidance and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
