Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled marketing professional to become a vital part of our dynamic Product Marketing team within the English Language Teaching division. This role is pivotal in supporting the marketing lifecycle of the Oxford Test of English. By leveraging insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes, you will assist in formulating effective marketing strategies and initiatives that drive growth and fulfill business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing strategies and plans for the Oxford Test of English, collaborating closely with various marketing teams, including web, CRM, email, data, campaigns, events, and community.
  • Assist in developing compelling customer value propositions to ensure our offerings meet market demands and distinguish themselves from competitors.
  • Collaborate with the Assessment Marketing team to craft impactful messaging and content for emails, websites, and landing pages.
  • Support competitor analysis efforts to guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Help create and monitor sales enablement tools, ensuring they are effectively uploaded to the sales enablement platform.
  • Implement and track marketing tactics, including web pages and emails, throughout the customer journey, while also supporting both in-person and virtual events.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product development, research, regional teams, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing enhancements.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize outcomes and return on investment.
  • Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the allocated budget for marketing initiatives.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, candidates should ideally possess:

Essential Skills:
  • Experience in marketing products and services within both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as email, automation, web, and CRM.
  • Exceptional copywriting abilities across various platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms.
  • Knowledge of the English Language Teaching, education, or assessment sectors.
  • Experience in marketing to diverse global audiences.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Click Up, and Sprinklr.
