About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Fortress Safety. As a key member of our Application and Technical Support team, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits to resolve technical issues and answer questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Safety Services, to ensure seamless support and resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Fortress Safety products and solutions, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and document best practices for technical account management and share knowledge with internal teams.
  • Support the development of project books and global specifications for key customers.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the business by identifying opportunities for product improvement and expansion into new markets.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and related automation technologies.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional departments.
