Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Technical Specialist to join our team at Tyman UK & Ireland. As an ICT Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees on a wide range of IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Assist and support the IT Manager and wider team as required, ensuring seamless delivery of IT services.
  • Support with general hardware issues, including laptops, PCs, servers, printers, and other equipment.
  • Provide support for standard software, including Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Windows 10/11.
  • Act as administrator for systems, including end-user backup systems, signature software, asset inventory, and auditing.
  • Ensure the IT support helpdesk is kept up to date and manage the system on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a 1st line IT support role or a relevant qualification in this field, such as CompTIA, CISCO, or Microsoft.
  • Good working knowledge of general Microsoft software and network connectivity, including TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs.
  • Experience of Windows server, Hyper-V, Cisco Meraki, Esxi, and Mimecast would be beneficial.
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure, to meet deadlines.
