Job Title: ICT Technician

We are seeking a skilled ICT Technician to join our team at Adecco UK Limited. As an ICT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line technical support for IT systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and telephones.
  • Ensure that IT systems are functioning correctly and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Windows deployments and application packages.
  • Monitor and report on IT support statistics, identifying trends and escalating issues to the Service Support Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in route cause analysis to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of requests and incidents in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of IT training and product demonstrations/workshops.
  • Monitor progress of requests and problems, providing customers with feedback and updated information.
  • Assist the Digital and IT Service Desk in providing first-line support to customers.
  • Manage customer expectations and experience to achieve high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in promoting best practice of Digital and IT policies and procedures.
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle to support external customers.
  • Remain professional at all times and promote Digital and IT services to all staff.
  • Act in accordance with the Council's Constitution and other Codes of Conduct.
  • Participate in staff development, appraisal, and training as appropriate.
  • Comply with the Council's agreed policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of IT systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of IT policies and procedures.
