This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual eager to advance their career within Stone King's highly regarded Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the HR Team and the broader organization, providing vital assistance to our various Sectors and Teams, as well as engaging with the generalist HR team.

The HR Department comprises 11 dedicated professionals, and the chosen candidate will report directly to the Head of HR. Throughout the apprenticeship, the candidate's growth will be supported by a qualification tailored to their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for HR inquiries across all offices through various channels.
  • Generating correspondence related to contract modifications, probation assessments, absence management, and other HR matters.
  • Maintaining employee records and the HR filing system accurately and promptly.
  • Assisting with the overall employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Managing the sickness recording process and notifying relevant HR personnel of significant trends.
  • Providing note-taking support during performance management and employee relations meetings.
  • Assisting with the annual salary review process and related communications.
  • Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Ensuring that HR systems are updated with any employee changes.
  • Updating and distributing internal reports and newsletters.
  • Running standard reports from the HR information system as needed.
  • Supporting the administration of employee benefits.
  • Ensuring timely processing of HR-related invoices.
  • Assisting with various HR projects as needed.
  • Performing general administrative tasks as required by the HR team.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Office applications and HR systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Minimum education level of GCSE or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional services environment.
  • Prior administrative experience or experience in a similar role.
