Penguin Recruitment is a leading provider of engineering talent to the construction industry. We are currently working with a prominent building design consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineering Apprentice.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our client's team as a Structural Engineering Apprentice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of building structures, conducting site surveys, and supporting the preparation of reports and bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of building structures, including residential apartments, schools, commercial offices, and high-rise domestic structures.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather data and information for project development.
  • Support the preparation of reports and bid proposals, including writing and editing.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • A strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (2:1 or above BEng/MEng).
  • Previous consultancy experience (ideally a minimum of 2 years working on residential and commercial works).
  • A valid driving license to visit sites (ideally).
