The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and guidance to senior managers and leaders across the organization. This will include managing complex employee relations cases, advising on employment law and policy, and developing and implementing HR initiatives to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior managers and leaders on employee relations, employment law, and HR policy.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and equalities issues.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to support business objectives, including talent development, succession planning, and organizational change.
- Collaborate with senior managers and leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and leaders on HR best practices and people management.
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Provide training and development opportunities to managers and leaders on HR and people management.
- Support the development of organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, reorganization, and cultural change.
- Collaborate with other HR teams to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Sustained experience in an Employee Relations operational HR role within a large organization with a diverse workforce.
- Proven experience in managing and advising on complex cases, including but not exclusive to sickness, disciplinary, grievance, and equalities issues.
- Indepth knowledge of relevant legislation and recognized best HR practice.
- Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues at all levels in an appropriate and concise manner, both orally and in writing.
- Self-motivation, self-reliance, and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
This position is located in Somerset and will involve hybrid working.
