Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to dental clinicians in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community centers.
- Support patients with additional needs, including children, people with learning and physical disabilities, and the elderly.
- Set up and prepare dental surgeries, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Manage stock and supplies, including medications, utilities, and equipment.
- Update and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and efficient filing systems.
- Book patient appointments and provide advice on dental care and treatment.
- Registered Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council.
- National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
- Previous experience working as part of a dental team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with emotional situations.
- IT literacy and ability to use electronic records.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, with notice.
