Dental Nurse Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting clinicians throughout a wide range of clinical treatments.
Main Responsibilities
Supporting all patients as they undergo dental treatment, responding to individual patient needs and understanding how they may be affected by dental experiences.
Setting up and preparing the dental surgery, ensuring it is cleaned post-surgery.
Ensuring the correct clean instruments and equipment, x-rays, record card, and electronic records are available to the clinician prior to treatment.
Requirements
Registration with the General Dental Council
NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare
Experience working with the elderly, children, and patients with special needs
Excellent organisational skills
Computer skills, including experience with dental software
