About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering exceptional dental services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of dental care for children and adults with complex needs, including those with high levels of dental disease and patients with additional needs.
  • Work in a multi-surgery clinic, providing support to other colleagues and contributing to a positive and dynamic team environment.
  • Have the opportunity to provide care in domiciliary settings and assist in the provision of care for patients under inhalation sedation, with the appropriate training.
  • Assist on general anaesthetic sessions and contribute to the smooth running of the clinic.

Requirements

  • National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
  • Registration with the General Dental Council.
  • Portfolio of evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Previous experience working as part of a dental team, general practice, hospital, or other PDS/CDS providing chair-side duties.
