We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinics.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting dentists and hygienists in providing chair-side care, taking radiographs, and maintaining patient records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists in providing chair-side care, including taking radiographs and maintaining patient records.
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments, ensuring they are clean and sterile.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
- Registration with the General Dental Council.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with dental software.
