Job Title: Dental Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team within the Community Dental Service in Berkshire. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to patients with additional needs, including children, people with learning and physical disabilities, and the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and prepare the dental surgery, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Maintain and update patients' records, adhering to data protection guidelines.
  • Book patient appointments and provide advice on dental care, utilizing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council.
  • National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
  • Previous experience working as part of a dental team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle emotional situations.
  • IT literacy and ability to work with various software systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, with notice.
  • Valid UK driving license and car.
