Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Children's Nurse, your primary duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the Deputy Lead Nurse Shift Coordinator to design and execute care plans for children and young individuals facing life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
  • Delivering personalized symptom management, palliative, and end-of-life care on a one-to-one basis within our facility.
  • Engaging with a multidisciplinary team, which includes various skilled professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Upholding the highest standards of nursing practice in accordance with established local and national guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid nursing qualification (RSCN/RNLD) with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Experience working with children and young people (0-25 years) with complex health needs.
