Position: Band 6 Assistant Lead Nurse at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

Rainbows Hospice is on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Band 6 Assistant Lead Nurse to enhance our compassionate care team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional support to infants, children, and adolescents facing life-limiting health challenges.

Primary Duties:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of healthcare professionals
  • Provide clinical oversight and serve as Shift Coordinator
  • Design and execute care plans for young patients
  • Ensure adherence to local and national healthcare standards
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant will be a registered RSCN/RN/RNLD/RGN with a minimum of three years of post-registration experience. Previous experience working with children or young individuals with complex health needs is essential.
