Tenancy Sustainment and Housing Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tenancy Sustainment and Floating Support Officer to join our team at Concrete. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenancy sustainment and support services to individuals who are vulnerable and/or have complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers to complete inductions, risk assessments, and develop personalized support plans to address their individual needs.
- Develop and review support plans that are centered around the customer's personal health and wellbeing, debt management, benefit entitlement, and housing options.
- Empower customers to maintain their independence and understand the importance of managing their own homes.
- Ensure that all properties are well-maintained and that health and safety checks are completed.
- Support customers in developing positive relationships with their support network and other services.
- Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner, including support plans, forms, and database entries.
- Support customers in transitioning to their own general needs tenancy.
- Collaborate with the local community to raise awareness and funds for Concrete's initiatives.
Requirements
- Educated to a GCSE level.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar sector or transferable skills.
- Experience working with customers who have complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of what great customer service entails.
- Ability to fulfill contractual commitments for commissioned services.
- Experience supporting financial processes, including expenses and invoice processing.
- Experience completing forms and applications for benefits and grants.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and demands.
- A motivational approach to supporting customers.
