Job Summary:The Tenancy Sustainment and Floating Support Officer will work closely with customers to develop and implement personalized support plans, empowering them to maintain their independence and manage their own homes. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that health and safety checks are completed.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with customers to complete inductions, risk assessments, and create support plans to address their individual needs.
- Develop and review personalized support plans that focus on customers' personal health and wellbeing, debt management, benefit entitlement, and move-on housing options.
- Empower customers to maintain their independence and understand what it means to manage their own homes.
- Ensure that all properties are well-maintained and health and safety checks are completed.
- Support customers to develop positive relationships with their support network and other services.
- Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner, including support plans, forms, and databases.
- Support customers to 'move on' into their own general needs tenancy.
- Work with the local community to fundraise and raise the organization's profile.
- GCSE level education.
- 1-2 years' experience of working in a similar sector or transferable skills.
- Experience of working with customers with complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of great customer service.
- Ability to fulfill contractual commitments for commissioned services.
- Experience of supporting financial processes, including expenses and invoice processing.
- Experience of completing forms and applications for benefits and grants.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and demands.
- Motivational approach to supporting customers.
