Job Title: HVAC Systems Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Support Specialist to join our team at Shorterm Group. As an HVAC Systems Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of HVAC systems on rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert for HVAC overhauls and repairs
  • Support the bid process for NPI of rail vehicle HVAC equipment mileage-based overhauls
  • Generate new or amend existing COI for mileage-based overhauls of rail vehicle HVAC units
  • Support the creation of Bills of Materials for the overhaul process
  • Manage obsolescence for all HVAC systems overhauled at the Crewe facility
  • Work with the manufacturing team to ensure on-time output of products
  • Provide project support at Depot for arising issues and planned customer meetings
  • Support ongoing industrialisation activities across various HVAC products

Requirements:

  • Degree or higher certificate in engineering/technical discipline
  • Strong experience in a similar role involving the maintenance and overhaul of safety-critical systems/equipment
  • Knowledge of HVAC processes such as brazing, use of gases, and system vacuuming
  • Knowledge of a maintenance management system and BOM management
  • Advanced level of English
