About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Controls Lead to join our team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our Performance and Contract Management team, you will play a critical role in enhancing and systemizing our business operations to meet the current and future needs of our customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract management and performance improvement, with experience in scoping and delivering multi-workstream projects. You will be responsible for assessing current contract management practices, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement consistent KPIs and governance procedures.

As an Operational Controls Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior members of wider functions, to establish and lead project teams, develop communication plans, and deliver contract management projects through effective programme management practices.

You will also be responsible for building and leading a small team dedicated to contract management and performance improvement, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in business financial measures
  • Proven experience in scoping and delivering multi-workstream contract management or performance improvement projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo in the right way
  • Outcomes-driven mindset, able to focus others on the 'so what'
  • Demonstrated people management experience, with the ability to motivate a team
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Able to balance demand across multiple priorities
