About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational/Contract Controls Lead to join our Performance and Contract Management team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and systemizing our business operations to meet the current and future needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Assess current contract management practices and identify areas for improvement, collaborating with stakeholders to implement consistent KPIs and governance procedures.
  • Performance Improvement: Optimize quality and compliance performance through improved BAU assurance and auditing procedures, supporting teams to define and embed process change to meet new regulations.
  • Programme Management: Deliver contract management projects through effective programme management practices, including establishing and leading cross-functional teams, leading and facilitating governance, and developing communication and change management plans.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a small team dedicated to contract management and performance improvement, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Culture and Learning: Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management and performance improvement.
About You
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, familiar with business financial measures and able to articulate the £ impact of operational performance.
  • Project Experience: Proven experience in scoping and delivering multi-workstream contract management or performance improvement projects, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Results-Oriented: Outcomes-driven mindset, able to focus others on the 'so what'.
  • People Management: Demonstrated people management experience, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Adaptability: Able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing demand across multiple priorities.
