Position Overview

The Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Care Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the integration of health and social care services within our community.

As a key member of the Care Community Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication among various stakeholders. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities will be essential in supporting the team and enhancing service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will primarily assist the Care Community Support Managers, Coaches, Service Managers, and Clinical Leads. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently managing diaries and email correspondence for the Care Community team, coordinating both virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and generating action and decision logs as necessary.
  • Developing presentations and spreadsheets to support team initiatives.
  • Overseeing the management of social media channels for the Care Community.
  • Creating and distributing community newsletters as needed.
  • Organizing and participating in Care Community events.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks as required.

Role Requirements

The successful candidate will be expected to support the Central Cheshire team, with responsibilities spanning across multiple Care Communities. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A friendly, adaptable, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience in a confidential work environment.
  • Relevant typing qualifications and experience in a Personal Assistant role.
  • Proven ability to take minutes for complex meetings.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing multiple calendars.
  • Strong minute-taking skills for multi-agency meetings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Typing qualifications equivalent to 70 wpm.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Familiarity with social media management.

Desirable

  • Capability to perform a diverse range of duties as outlined in the job description.
