Cameo Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to become a vital member of our dedicated team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing administrative functions throughout the lifecycle of new product launches.

Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various internal and external partners, necessitating a high degree of organizational skills.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.

The capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial; your day may involve transitioning from desk work to collecting samples as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the rollout of new product initiatives.
  • Providing support to team members during peak periods to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
  • Requesting, tracking, and reporting on samples throughout the product development cycle.
  • Coordinating weekly airfreight shipments and prioritizing incoming samples.
  • Communicating with Account Managers, Product Development Managers, or customers regarding product or photography sample delays.
  • Assisting in the packing, re-boxing, and transportation of samples to designated locations within the organization.
  • Utilizing the company CRM to manage new product setups, ensuring all administrative tasks and data entries are completed accurately and promptly, including product specifications and technical data sheets.
  • Creating specification sheets and label details for new products, ensuring precision and distributing them to suppliers.
  • Finalizing all new products as complete and ensuring proper system setup prior to the first purchase order.
  • Maintaining costing schedules and ensuring accurate completion of new product costing sheets based on factory quotes.
  • Organizing and filing all factory quote documents.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and effective communication, including marketing, design, trading, technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and approving new stock upon arrival.
  • Maintaining ongoing range management data and addressing product inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, including time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Experience in managing critical paths and timelines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive approach to personal development.

A valid UK driving license is required due to occasional travel to local sites.

What We Offer:

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a holiday entitlement of 29 days per year, inclusive of public holidays. This entitlement increases with length of service, reaching a maximum of 34 days.
