About the Role

The UCL Eastman Dental Institute is seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD Researcher to join our team in the Institute of Women's Health, Department of Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof Pascale V Guillot and will be embedded within an internationally leading team of clinicians and engineers. The project will provide the student with invaluable hands-on experience of applying their knowledge in various subjects, ranging from human anatomy and physiology to data analysis and computer programming, in a single multi-disciplinary project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in fetal imaging and data analysis
  • Develop and apply advanced image analysis techniques
  • Collaborate with clinicians and engineers to develop novel therapies
  • Contribute to the development of mathematical models
  • Programming skills needed for analysis
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in a relevant discipline, such as biomedical engineering, computer science, or mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and a strong academic record.

What We Offer

The student will receive a starting stipend of £21,000 per annum (including London weighting). The student will be expected to cover any relevant PhD tuition fees.
