Position Overview: The Smart Imaging Lab at Imperial College London is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to a variety of cutting-edge projects funded by prominent research organizations.

Project Focus: This role involves engaging in advanced quantitative MRI and PET imaging research. Current initiatives encompass:

  • Cardiovascular MRI applications for atrial fibrillation and congenital heart disease.
  • Utilization of CT and chest X-ray techniques for lung fibrosis analysis.

  • Development of deep learning algorithms for medical image/data analysis, including segmentation, classification, and reconstruction.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work on enhancing the efficiency and scalability of various MRI and PET methodologies. This includes:

  • Empowering patients and healthcare professionals in the diagnostic process.
  • Contributing to the advancement of health systems and fostering research innovation.
