Postdoctoral Research Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at RI Research Instruments GmbH. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be working in the Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology, a Division in the Faculty of Life Sciences, renowned for its global ranking in Life Sciences and Medicine.

Research Focus: Our team is focused on understanding anti-tumour immune responses and adaptive immune function regulation in cancer. You will be working closely with Professor David Withers and Professor Menna Clatworthy's teams to conduct research using in vivo models and mammalian cell culture techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on anti-tumour immune responses and adaptive immune function regulation
  • Collaborate with our research teams to advance our understanding of cancer biology
  • Analyze gene expression, transcriptomics, and molecular biology data to inform our research
  • Lead and manage research projects to achieve our research goals
  • Communicate research findings to both specialist and lay audiences

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. Molecular Cell Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology)
  • Experience in research using in vivo models and mammalian cell culture techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
