Job Title: MRC Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field, and will be responsible for conducting high-quality research in the area of developmental biology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the mechanisms of gene regulation in development
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends
  • Develop and implement new techniques and protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate with other researchers to achieve project goals
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. molecular biology, cell biology, genetics)
  • Significant practical expertise in molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR, cloning, CRISPR/Cas9)
  • Experience in design, generation, and validation of new mammalian cell lines
  • Strong conceptual background and interest in gene regulation in development
