MRC Postdoctoral Research Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences. As a key member of our Development and Transcriptional control group, you will contribute to our research on how regional identity is controlled during development and its impact on cellular diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply molecular biology expertise to dissect gene regulatory events that impact body plan patterning
  • Generate novel tools and introduce new technologies to address major outstanding questions in developmental biology
  • Contribute to collaborative projects with other group members or collaborators

Requirements:

  • Strong experimental background in molecular biology
  • Major interest in gene regulation in mouse development, stem cell models of posterior body development, and/or neural crest development
  • Strong grasp of cutting-edge molecular biology techniques in embryonic stem cells and/or the generation and analysis of high throughput sequencing datasets
