MRC Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the Behavioural Phenomics group, led by Dr André Brown.
Job Summary:The Postdoctoral Research Scientist will be responsible for planning and carrying out research in accordance with the project aims, attending project and related research group meetings, interacting and collaborating with group members, and publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research in the Behavioural Phenomics group, focusing on high-throughput imaging for phenotypic screening and the development of new behavior analysis methods.
- Collaborate with group members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement new research methods and techniques to advance the field of Behavioural Phenomics.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to the development of the Behavioural Phenomics group's research strategy and direction.
- PhD in biological or physical sciences or engineering.
- Experience planning and completing an independent research project.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a collaborative research environment.
