Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant to join our team at the Fetal Medicine Research Institute at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing databases, coordinating clinical trials, and providing administrative support to the research team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage databases for patients entering clinical trials and other research studies
  • Coordinate clinic appointments and tests for patients involved in trials
  • Assist research midwives and fellows with trial paperwork and data management
  • Participate in clinical observations and provide care to adults requiring clinical interventions
  • Provide administrative support to the research team
Requirements
  • A-level or equivalent supplemented by a diploma, formal training, or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience of clinical research and data management
  • ICH GCP training and awareness of current legislation regarding research governance issues
  • Proficient IT skills, including Excel and advanced keyboard skills
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative in a flexible atmosphere
