About the Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving pipeline growth, building relationships with key and new accounts, and contributing to our company's presence as an industry expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively prospect to drive pipeline growth by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build relationships in key and new accounts at Executive level, understanding their business processes and identifying opportunities to provide value-added solutions.
  • Contribute to company's presence as an industry expert by helping the marketing team create and produce industry and solution-led blogs or write-ups which drive campaigns leading to new client acquisition.
  • Become a trusted advisor within your customer and prospect accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Maintain forecast, customer and prospect information with detail and to a high degree of accuracy on our CRM system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare complex proposals and articulate those proposals to senior stakeholders within the customers' organisations through the use of professional compiled presentations.

Requirements:

  • Strong B2B sales background from a related field or IT, Software or Tech.
  • Confident and persuasive with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong background in solution-based sales or enterprise software sales.
  • Have a successful track record on developing new business and opening new accounts.
  • Sales orientated and energised by a targeted environment.
  • Confident and able to build strategic relationships at an Executive and Senior management level while engaging tactically within departmental groups.
  • Have the required skills to understand business processes and articulate the business and financial value new solutions can bring to a company.
  • Have excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High organisational skills, extremely disciplined with time-management and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • First-rate interpersonal skills and approachable nature.
  • The determination to succeed and reach goals (set by the manager and by themselves).
  • Strong, driven mentality - a self-starter.
