{"Overall Purpose": "The UK Research and Innovation is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate the replacement of flooring in a research laboratory. The successful candidate will work closely with the research groups and facilities to minimize disruption to scientific activity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the flooring replacement program and contribute to its development.
* Form strong working relationships with external planners and contractors.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the flooring repair program within the research institute, providing guidance, coordinating activities, and motivating users to participate.
* Liaise with users to respond to queries or requests for information from the contractor team and vice versa.
* Coordinate and provide support for internal activities prior to the commencement of the flooring program, ensuring timely data return to planners.

Requirements:

* BSc or equivalent in a scientific subject.
* Experience working in a biological sciences research environment.
* Project management experience.
* Understanding of the UK academic research environment.
* Experience with relocation programs or major operational transitions.

* Ability to operate autonomously and plan own workload.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize work streams.
