Location: THE PIG Hotel, Brockenhurst, Hampshire

Compensation: OTE £13.94 per hour, including tronc.

Employment Type: Full Time

As a vital member of our food and beverage team, our Wine Specialists play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service within our dining and bar areas. We take pride in offering an extensive selection of wines from around the globe, featuring local British selections and our exclusive PIG offerings.

Our passion for wine is evident, especially with our latest addition, THE PIG in the South Downs, which boasts its own vineyard.

In the role of Wine Specialist, you will enhance your wine knowledge while actively engaging with guests during our lively restaurant service. Your responsibilities will include selecting wines from our traditional underground cellar and providing tailored recommendations to ensure an unforgettable dining experience.

Through on-the-job training, you will expand your understanding of both local and international wine brands and cultivate relationships with existing and new suppliers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to advance your qualifications in wine and spirits by enrolling in various educational courses.

Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, along with WSET or equivalent certifications.
