At Turner & Townsend Group, we are seeking an experienced Director to lead our public sector cost management teams in the region. This role presents a unique opportunity for a progressive leader to build from a strong foundation, taking operations to the next level of maturity.

The primary objective of the role is to accelerate our growth, increase our market share, build our capability, and establish our position as a leading cost consultancy in the provision of professional services across government and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead public sector teams across the regions, to enable the achievement of target outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for public sector teams' activities, and virtual coordination of activities across sector leaders in other regions nationally.
  • Project execution assurance for public sector projects
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in leading the delivery of cost management for public sector and government capital projects and programmes
  • Proven track record in winning work / business generation
  • Established industry network
  • Strong market reputation, recognition as a subject matter expert
  • Degree holder in relevant discipline
  • Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team-player with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management
  • Experience contributing to the "bigger picture" in terms of business strategy / growth.
