Job Title: Commercial Contracts Lawyer - Public Sector Expert

Job Type: Full-time

Duration: 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join our client's Legal Services team as a locum for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on, negotiating, and drafting a range of contracts and agreements, including:

  • Public Health Contracts: Providing expert advice on public health contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Construction and Building Contracts: Negotiating and drafting construction and building contracts, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • IT Contracts: Advising on IT contracts, ensuring secure and efficient technology solutions.
  • Framework Agreements: Developing and implementing framework agreements, streamlining procurement processes.
  • Concession Contracts: Negotiating and drafting concession contracts, ensuring fair and transparent terms.
  • Collaboration Agreements: Facilitating collaboration agreements, promoting partnership and cooperation.
  • Funding Agreements: Advising on funding agreements, ensuring secure and sustainable financial arrangements.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in commercial contracts law, with a focus on public sector contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
