Job Title: Commercial and Construction Contracts Lawyer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer with expertise in construction contracts to join our client, a large and thriving local authority in London, on a locum basis. The contract is for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension on a long-term rolling basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on commercial and construction contracts
  • Work closely with the local authority's teams to deliver high-quality contract management services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the local authority's contract management strategy

Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, CILEx) with experience in construction contracts
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
