About the Role

Kent Property Management is a leading provider of property management services, specializing in the management of residential blocks and estates. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Block Property Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in property management and be able to manage their own portfolio of properties. They will be responsible for ensuring that all properties under their management are maintained to the highest standards, and that all relevant legislation and regulations are complied with.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential block property management, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and expertise in this field. They will also be able to manage onsite staff, including caretakers, cleaners, gardeners, and security personnel.

The role will involve a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Setting service charge budgets
  • Conducting site visits
  • Liaising with site directors
  • Section 20 consultations
  • Ensuring relevant health and safety is up to date at the sites
  • Dealing with insurance claims
  • Chairing AGMs
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Liaising with leaseholders
  • Keeping updated with current legislation and attending CPD

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to manage their own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
