Student Wellbeing Coordinator

The Elizabeth School of London is seeking a highly skilled Wellbeing Officer to join our London campus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our students throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct wellbeing meetings with students to discuss their problems and concerns.
- Analyse and identify wellbeing cases, and share reports with the Wellbeing Manager.
- Provide guidance, advice, and information related to student wellbeing and pastoral care, and offer support to students experiencing emotional or practical difficulties.
- Manage a caseload of student wellbeing matters, reviewing support needs and logging student outcomes, and communicating with tutors and other central services.
- Collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager to deliver workshops, webinars, and awareness-raising events.
- Communicate and collaborate with other teams to establish, maintain, and develop productive relationships with colleagues across the University, in order to support service delivery and issue resolution.
- Plan and organise your own workload, and contribute to longer-term plans and programmes.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
- A willingness to train in Mental Health First Aid.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Sensitivity and empathy with students, colleagues, and staff.
- Ability to deal with confidential matters and act with discretion.
- A master's degree in Psychology or a Mental Health qualification.
- Experience in producing and managing timetables in an educational context.
- Strong IT skills.
- Evidence of working with a diversity of students.
- Experience in risk assessments and crisis management.
