Position Overview: This role encompasses two practitioner positions, including a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner and an Assistant Psychologist/Research Assistant, situated within a judicial environment.

Referral Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the appropriateness of new referrals, ensuring compliance with established service protocols.
- Direct unsuitable service users to the appropriate services or back to the referral source as needed.

Assessment Duties:
- Conduct user-centered assessments, including risk evaluations, to collaboratively establish a clear understanding of individual needs and challenges.
- Utilize this understanding to determine the most suitable psychological interventions.

Engagement and Intervention:
- Deliver psychological interventions under the guidance of the Clinical Lead or Specialist Mental Health Practitioner in their absence.
- Engage with family members, friends, or caregivers of service users when necessary.

Collaboration:
- Build effective working relationships with partner agencies, including probation services, substance use programs, and other relevant organizations.

Service Evaluation:
- Participate actively in data collection and routine outcome measures as part of the Nottingham/Nottinghamshire MHTR service evaluation initiative.
- Support the Clinical Lead in conducting periodic service evaluations.
