About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) service in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based support to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a structured, skills-based program based on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation and other difficulties associated with a Personality Disorder diagnosis.
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group sessions, utilizing face-to-face, telephone, and digital technology formats.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and assist the team with developing risk formulations under the supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist.
Requirements
  • Upper second-class honours degree in Psychology.
  • Eligibility for graduate membership with the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties and delivering psychosocial interventions (individually or in groups).
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and manage workload independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills, effective communication, and a willingness to be flexible in approach.
