About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our dynamic community mental health team. As a key member of the team, you will work under supervision to deliver psychologically informed interventions and support adults with severe mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred assessment and thorough risk assessment to individuals with severe mental health problems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that promote good mental health and recovery.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
  • Liaise with external agencies and services to ensure seamless care coordination and support.

Requirements
  • A graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health).
  • Registration as a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner on a professional register recognised by NHS England.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs, gained through a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate training with significant supervised practice.
