Job Overview:As a Clinical Psychologist in our CAMHS team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical psychology services to children and young people. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the mental health and well-being of young individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify and understand the psychological needs of children and young people.
- Collaboration with Multi-disciplinary Team: Work closely with a diverse multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training to junior staff, contributing to the ongoing professional development of the team.
- Research and Service Development: Engage in relevant research activities and contribute to the development of CAMHS services, ensuring they align with best practices and the latest advancements in the field.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- Substantial experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
