Psychologist for Adult Cystic Fibrosis Care

Position Overview
The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our esteemed Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service. This role is pivotal in delivering both inpatient and outpatient psychological support to individuals diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, ensuring they receive care in a compassionate and holistic environment.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate with a seasoned Clinical Psychologist and an Assistant Psychologist within our multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions tailored to adults with cystic fibrosis.
- Providing psychological guidance, supervision, and training to colleagues across various disciplines.
- Utilizing a broad spectrum of clinical psychology techniques to enhance the quality of life for patients.
Qualifications and Experience
We welcome applications from qualified Clinical Psychologists or those in the final stages of their doctoral training in clinical psychology. Candidates should possess:
- A completed or anticipated doctoral degree in clinical psychology accredited by the relevant professional body.
- Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body or eligibility for registration.
- Experience working with individuals facing physical health challenges, as well as a background in mental health services.
