Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Sandstone Care Group. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with Autism in our specialist setting.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with adults with Autism, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar setting. You will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to our service users, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of their care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to adults with Autism, including personal care, medication management, and behavioral support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for service users and staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with adults with Autism in a similar setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Full valid UK driving license and willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and service users.
